On March 24, 2025, to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2025) and the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 – March 27, 2025), the Center for Physical Education and Sports, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) coordinated with the VNU Administrative Office and the VNU Youth Union to organize a tree planting event at VNU’s Hoa Lac campus.
Earlier, to improve accessibility and spatial connection, the Center for Physical Education and Sports had completed the construction of a lakeside pathway connecting the VNU Sports Complex to the HT2 Building. This new road not only facilitates movement for staff, lecturers, and students during their study and training but also enhances the campus landscape.
The tree planting activity took place along the newly completed lakeside road, carrying both practical and symbolic significance. It provided an opportunity for the units involved to commemorate the meaningful March anniversaries, while also strengthening the unity and collaboration among the Center for Physical Education and Sports, the VNU Administrative Office, and the VNU Youth Union.
Furthermore, this tree planting effort aims toward the long-term goal of creating a green, clean, and beautiful landscape for VNU’s Hoa Lac campus. It contributes to building a healthy learning and training environment, enhancing the quality of life and education for all staff, lecturers, and students.
This meaningful activity once again affirms the Center for Physical Education and Sports’ role and responsibility in joining hands with other VNU units to develop a modern and sustainable university space at Hoa Lac.
