Tiếng ViệtOn October 5, 2025, the Opening Ceremony of the VNU 3×3 Basketball Tournament for High School and University Students 2025 took place at the Multipurpose Gymnasium, University of Languages and International Studies – VNU (02 Pham Van Dong, Cau Giay, Hanoi).
The tournament aims to create a healthy and dynamic playground to enhance physical fitness, promote a love for sports, and strengthen connections among students studying across VNU’s member institutions. It is also a meaningful activity in response to the national movement “Following Uncle Ho’s example in physical training”, and to celebrate major national milestones — the 71st Anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation (10/10/1954 – 10/10/2025), the 43rd Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (20/11/1982 – 20/11/2025) — as well as to welcome new students of the academic year 2025–2026.
The event is hosted and organized by the VNU Center for Physical Education and Sports, gathering 20 men’s teams and 8 women’s teams from VNU’s universities and faculties.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the matches kicked off in an energetic atmosphere, drawing large crowds of spectators and supporters.

The women’s matches took place in the morning and concluded with the awarding ceremony at noon on the same day.
The final rankings were as follows:
- 🥇 1st Place: University of Economics and Business (Team 1)
- 🥈 2nd Place: University of Science
- 🥉 3rd Place: University of Social Sciences and Humanities
- 🥉 3rd Place: International School
🏀 Men’s Division Results
The men’s division featured 30 intense and thrilling matches, showcasing great sportsmanship and competitiveness.
The final rankings were as follows:
- 🥇 1st Place: University of Engineering and Technology (Team 2)
- 🥈 2nd Place: University of Science (Team 1)
- 🥉 3rd Place: School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Arts (Team 1)
- 🥉 3rd Place: School of Business and Management (Team 1)
The awarding ceremony took place in a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, filled with excitement and the spirit of fair play, solidarity, and youthful energy.
