On March 10, 2025, the Center for Physical Education and Sports (PESC) held a conference to announce decisions on organizational restructuring and management personnel. The event was conducted in accordance with Decision No. 326/QĐ-TCCB dated January 23, 2025, issued by the Director of VNU, regarding the reorganization of units under PESC, as well as Official Letter No. 1013/ĐHQGHN-TC&TT dated February 28, 2025, regarding the assignment of responsibilities, restructuring, and appointment of leadership and management personnel.
Participants in the conference
The conference was attended by the Board of Directors of PESC, including:
- Dr. Nguyễn Việt Hòa, Director of PESC
- Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Minh, Deputy Director of PESC
- Dr. Trịnh Kiên, Deputy Director of PESC
Additionally, heads and deputy heads of functional departments, along with faculty members, staff, and employees of the center, were present at the event.
Announcement of key organizational and personnel decisions
At the conference, Ms. Nguyễn Thanh Huyền, Head of the Administration – Organization Department, formally stated the purpose of the meeting and announced several important personnel decisions.
- Appointment of the Head of the Department of Sports
According to Decision No. 63/QĐ-GDTC&TT dated March 7, 2025, Dr. Trịnh Kiên, Deputy Director of PESC, was officially assigned to be in charge of the Department of Sports, effective from March 7, 2025, until further notice.
Following the announcement, Director Nguyễn Việt Hòa presented the official decision to Dr. Trịnh Kiên, in the presence of all faculty members and staff.
- Appointment of Deputy Heads of the Department of Sports
Based on the following decisions:
- Decision No. 64/QĐ-GDTC&TT dated March 7, 2025, appointing Ms. Lý Thị Ánh Tuyết, former Head of the Department of Team Sports, as Deputy Head of the Department of Sports.
- Decision No. 65/QĐ-GDTC&TT dated March 7, 2025, appointing Mr. Võ Ngọc Giao, former Head of the Department of Theoretical and Individual Sports, as Deputy Head of the Department of Sports.
- Decision No. 66/QĐ-GDTC&TT dated March 7, 2025, appointing Mr. Lê Tuấn Hiệp, former Head of the Sports Department, as Deputy Head of the Department of Sports.
After these decisions were announced, Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Minh, Deputy Director of PESC, officially presented the appointment decisions to the three newly appointed Deputy Heads of the Department of Sports.
Acceptance speech and task assignments
Following the presentation of the appointments, Dr. Trịnh Kiên, Deputy Director of PESC, delivered a speech acknowledging his responsibility as the new Head of the Department of Sports. In his address, he emphasized the critical role of the Department of Sports in teaching, training, and scientific research while outlining key strategic directions for the future.
Additionally, Dr. Trịnh Kiên assigned specific responsibilities to the newly appointed Deputy Heads of the Department of Sports as follows:
- Ms. Lý Thị Ánh Tuyết will oversee Training and Education.
- Mr. Võ Ngọc Giao will be responsible for Science and Technology.
- Mr. Lê Tuấn Hiệp will lead Sports Development.
These assignments aim to enhance the operational efficiency of the Department of Sports, ensuring each individual effectively contributes to their respective fields, thereby supporting the overall growth of PESC.
The conference on the announcement of decisions regarding organizational and management personnel of PESC was successfully conducted, ensuring transparency and clarity in personnel management. This restructuring and reassignment process is expected to lay a solid foundation for the continued sustainable development of the center.
