On the afternoon of November 19, 2024, in Sapa, Lao Cai, the Center for Physical Education and Sports organized the Conference on Training for the Academic Year 2024-2025, combined with activities to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20). This annual event is an important occasion to review the achievements of the past academic year and set new directions for the upcoming year.
The conference was chaired by Dr. Nguyen Viet Hoa, Director of the Center; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh, Deputy Director of the Center; and Dr. Trinh Kien, Deputy Director of the Center, along with the participation of lecturers, staff, and employees of the Center. The atmosphere of the conference was both solemn and open, providing an opportunity for discussions and contributions from all participants.
Reviewing a Year of Training Activities
During the conference, detailed and comprehensive reports on the Center’s training activities over the past year were presented, highlighting the Center’s remarkable achievements. Based on these reports, the Board of Directors provided in-depth comments and evaluations, acknowledging the accomplishments of the lecturers and staff. However, alongside the successes, the Board also candidly pointed out areas that need improvement and proposed solutions, particularly related to training activities and teaching facilities.
In addition to professional issues, the Board emphasized the importance of human resources, including both full-time lecturers and adjunct lecturers from external organizations. The harmonious collaboration among these resources is seen as a crucial factor directly supporting the Center’s training missions.
Open Dialogue Towards Comprehensive Training Quality
A highlight of the conference was the dialogue between the Board of Directors and the lecturers, staff, and employees. This was an opportunity to listen to the opinions and perspectives of those directly involved in teaching and management. Frank and constructive questions and suggestions provided the Board of Directors with a broader overview of the Center’s “training picture.” As a result, pressing issues were promptly addressed, and specific orientations and measures were proposed to enhance the quality of student training and improve the welfare of staff members.
New Directions for the Academic Year 2024-2025
The conference concluded with a closing speech by Dr. Nguyen Viet Hoa, Director of the Center.
