On August 20, 2025, at the TT104 Conference Hall, Multi-Functional Building, Sports Complex, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), the Center for Physical Education and Sports solemnly held the Conference of Officials and Employees, reviewing the 2024–2025 academic year and deploying the plan and tasks for 2025–2026.
The conference had the honor to welcome the working delegation of VNU leadership, including: Dr. Nguyễn Trung Hiển, Deputy Head of the Department of Development Cooperation, Dr. Vũ Tuấn Anh, Deputy Head of the Department of Science and Innovation, Dr. Phạm Vương, Deputy Head of the Department of Organization and Inspection. The presence of VNU functional leaders reflected the university’s strong commitment and attention to the Center, serving as an important source of encouragement and motivation for all staff and employees to continue striving in training and physical education for students.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tình, Chairman of the Center’s Trade Union, presented the review report of the 2024–2025 academic year, outlined the plan and tasks for 2025–2026, and launched a new emulation movement.
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thị Thư, Principal Lecturer of the Sports Department, delivered a keynote presentation titled “Physical Education in the Digital and AI Era: Orientation – Opportunities – Challenges – Development Roadmap.” The presentation analyzed the potential applications of information technology and artificial intelligence in teaching, while proposing solutions to enhance the effectiveness of physical education in the context of educational innovation.
The conference also heard two important reports: Dr. Nguyễn Kim Quỳnh, Head of the People’s Inspection Committee, presented the results of monitoring and inspection in the 2024–2025 academic year, as well as the Committee’s key plans for 2025–2026, with the aim of enhancing transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the Center’s activities; at the same time, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Phương, Chief Accountant, reported on the Center’s financial performance for 2024–2025, affirming stability and transparency in financial management, while setting directions for sustainable financial development in the coming academic year.
On behalf of the VNU working delegation, Dr. Phạm Vương, Deputy Head of the Department of Organization and Inspection, congratulated the Center on its achievements over the past academic year. He affirmed that VNU’s functional departments would continue to accompany the Center and emphasized the importance of building a high-quality workforce, linking emulation and commendation with KPIs and task performance of individuals and collectives.
The conference witnessed lively discussions, with many valuable contributions, and unanimously adopted the Resolution with high consensus. This serves as an important foundation for the Center to successfully implement the key plan and tasks for the 2025–2026 academic year, further affirming its pioneering role in physical education and contributing to enhancing the overall training quality of VNU.
